What is my challenge Question and how do I change it?
Your challenge question is a question that the Apps4Rent technical support people (our SharePoint site host) can ask you to verify your identity when you call for assistance, for example to have your password reset. (Its kind of like the secret handshake.)
These are the instructions for setting or changing the challenge question and reply:
- Click the "My Account" link in the upper right hand corner of the Member Perks page.
- A new window will open to http://user.sajug.com. The "Connect to cp.apps4rent.com" authentication dialog will appear. Enter your login name (including @sajug.com) and password.
- Scroll down to the "Challenge Message" section of the User Information page (at the very bottom).
- Select a question to be asked from the pull-down list and then enter the response you want to identify yourself with. Make it easy on yourself: use the real answer so you can just answer the question when they ask.
- Click the "Update" button at the bottom of the page.
- If the User Info page closes (or asks to close) then any information you changed on the User Information page was recorded. You were successful. If the page does not close then look to the bottom of the page for an error message.
